The history of E-Z-GO dates back to 1954 when brothers—Beverly and Billy Doolan—took it upon themselves to build a golf cart better than the designs available on the market at that time. Initially, they started operations out of their modest one-room machine shop in Augusta, GA. However, their model soon became popular among golfers across the country.
